‘Up,’ ‘Princess,’ ‘Fox’ vie for Annie top prize
LOS ANGELES – The travel adventure “Up,” the musical fairy tale “The Princess and the Frog” and the imaginary adaptations “Fantastic Mr. Fox” and “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” are competing for top honors at the Annie Awards, exclusively for vigorous films.
Also in the operation for best vibrant eminence are the obscurity family tale “Coraline,” which standard an important 10 nominations, and the Irish adventure “The Secret of Kells.”
“The Princess and the Frog” has eight nominations, with three of the five slots for individual charm energy, and two of the five slots for proclaim acting for co-stars Jen Cody and Jennifer Lewis.
Winners for the awards from the International Animated Film Society will be announced at a ceremony Feb. 6.
